About Sarah

I am from Lafayette, California, about 45 minutes east of San Francisco. My passion for working in media began when I was 14 and was gifted a camera. After receiving a degree in Sports Media, with a specialization in video journalism from Indiana University, I futher developed my passion for creating captivating visual stories. My expertise extends to graphic design, video editing, social media management, and photography, enabling me to craft engaging content and execute impactful campaigns. I pride myself on my attention to detail, organizational skills, leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills, which consistently contribute to the success of the projects I undertake.

I am not only driven by my love for creating captivating visual stories but also by my genuine desire to connect and work with people. I am dedicated to delivering creative excellence and professional results in the dynamic world of sports media and marketing. COMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE
Cuban Center - Video Intern (August 2021 - Present)
Shoot Indiana University Athletics events, edit highlights, and log video clips. Assist in all areas of athletic video production, media prep, archiving & distribution. Campus Ink - Design and Sales Manager (October 2022 - Present) Work with team members across the country as a skilled designer with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Sell merchandise that I have marketed, conceptualized, designed, quoted, and delivered.
The Chicago Dogs - Social Media Marketing Intern (May 2022 - August 2022) Schedule social media content across The Chicago Dogs Instagram and Facebook accounts. Support the organization and management of social media calendar planning. Maintain an awareness of competitive information and key industry trends to provide context for our social performance. Actively participate in monthly brainstorming sessions around social media and brand marketing campaigns, content, and initiatives Big Ten Network Student U - Color Commentator (January 2021 - Present)
Participate in student-produced events that stream live on BTN+. Research teams, responsible for calling games, as well as operating the cameras and production/transmission equipment.

City of Bloomington - Graphic Design Assistant (January 2021 - May 2021)
Designed a social media campaign to stress the importance of bike and pedestrian safety, planned strategic posts based on residential feedback
Creek Fire Project - Founder (September 2020)
Created a t-shirt fundraiser to raise money for Creek Fire relief. Organized taking orders, coordinated design and order of the shirts, managed the money, and executed pickup and delivery. Sold 400 shirts and raised $6,000.
